Latest news from Mumbai, if you hadn't heard already, the situation is bad, real bad. At least 100 people are dead and at least 300 injured. Explosions, gunshots, not good right now. About 40 people are trapped in the Taj hotel, and 4 terrorists are in there with them.
Who is behind this? The "Decan Mujihadeen" are claiming it is them, but this is unlikely as the attacks don't quite fit for them. Let's hope the mystery is solved.

It looks like a Qaeda-style attack, on the surface of things. Al Qaeda will use resources where it has them available to carry out a large-scale attack - similar to the attack in Bali. Also, intelligence agencies have been picking up chatter in recent weeks. Al Qaeda would have wanted to carry out an attack at some point between Election Day and Inaugaration Day. Well, that's what I would have thought...
