School? With Bombs? What?

War on Gaza development, Israel attacked a school filled with people, claiming that it was a rocket launch site. A school. Being used as a shelter for innocent civilians that Israel claimed they were not trying to harm.

It is true that a school would be a perfect hiding place for rockets, but maybe Israel is getting a little bit paranoid, or they could be making a full-scale invasion despite claiming that they are launching a retaliation against Hamas.

It seems to be a tactic they're using which could be used by any Government, and is shown well in George Orwell's Animal Farm. The people who realise that the Government might not actually be doing what they claim to do and really using it as an cover for something else they are doing. The people who do realise what is happening are afraid because of the greater force the opposed holds. Napoleon's 9 dog's and the Government's power.

When will every Government be completely truthful?

Later Update: Israel has allowed a 3 hour break of rocket attacks every day to bring aid into Gaza. Senior aid workers have commented, 3 hours is not enough time to help the 1 and a half million people who live in Gaza. There are protests everywhere, it seems that the world is screaming at Israel to declare a ceasefire.

It's hard to find the truth in a time of war. Even after it ends, both sides can doctor photos and other intelligence information. It can very difficult to find the truth. You have probably used a photoshop program before. I have never tried it, but I hear it isn't hard to do.

I have never seen actual bombs or rockets in schools, but I have seen pictures of them on classroom walls -- I should say pictures of pictures. My father went to the Soviet Union and visited a couple of schools while he was there. He took pictures of some drawings that were hung on the walls and showed them to me when he came home. There were pictures of atomic bombs (mushroom clouds), rockets and tanks. You name it. It was all there. Wars make us all paranoid...especially the cold ones.

Just to make it clear -- those pictures were drawn by the kids.

I wonder if Palestinian kids do the same thing..?
